1. Who you are dealing with
The portal at https://boringworkshopsportal.com is operated by Bored Peach Club Ltd., registration number C 111685, registered office Level 3, Valletta Buildings, Triq Nofs in-Nhar, Valletta, VLT 1103, Malta. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the portal.
2. What the portal is for
The portal is a working tool for creatives who want to run a workshop with us. You use it to pitch an idea, agree dates and a fee, sign an agreement, upload promotional material, see who has signed up and message our team. It is not a marketplace, and creating an account does not guarantee that we will run your workshop.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- Give accurate details and keep them current, especially billing details we need to pay you.
- Keep your login to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has access.
- We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the portal, other users or our team.
4. Proposals and review
When you submit a proposal our team reviews it. We may ask for changes, suggest dates, propose a different fee, or decline. A proposal marked accepted in the portal means we agree the fee and date shown at that moment, and that we will move on to an agreement. It does not replace the agreement.
5. Fees and payment
- The fee for a workshop is whatever is written in the signed agreement for that workshop, including how it is calculated, per hour, per session or as a total.
- Payment is made by bank transfer to the account details you give us in your profile, on the terms and timing set out in that agreement.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, social contributions and any VAT that applies to you, and for invoicing us correctly where that is required.
- We can only pay once your legal name, address and IBAN are complete in the portal.
6. Agreements and electronic signature
Agreements are drafted, signed and stored in the portal. You sign by typing, drawing or uploading your signature and confirming a one time code sent to your email. A member of our team counter-signs. Both parties get a copy. You agree that this electronic signature is binding on you, as recognised under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS) and Maltese law, and that our record of the signing event is evidence of it. If something in a draft is wrong, comment on it in the portal before you sign.
7. Running the workshop
- You deliver the workshop you described, on the agreed date, at the agreed length and number of sessions.
- We handle promotion, ticketing, participant communications and the admin around it.
- You need the right to teach the material and to use any images, music or third party work you show.
- Treat participants and our team with respect. We may end a workshop that puts people at risk.
8. Content and rights
You keep the rights to your own work, your teaching material and the images you upload. By uploading them you give us permission to use them to promote you and your workshop across our website, newsletters, social channels and ticket pages, for as long as that promotion is useful. Where an agreement covers recording, the recording terms in that agreement apply. Everything else on this portal, including its design and code, stays ours.
9. Changes, cancellation and minimum numbers
Dates can move and workshops can be cancelled, for example if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Where that happens we tell you as early as we can and follow the notice, rescheduling and payment terms in the signed agreement. If you need to cancel, tell us immediately so we can look after the people who bought tickets.
10. Availability of the portal
We try to keep the portal up and working, but we provide it as it is. We may change features, take it down for maintenance, or stop offering parts of it. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
11. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost opportunity, and our total liability connected to a workshop is limited to the fee payable for that workshop.
12. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal data in the portal, including participant details you can see for your own workshops. Use those details only to run your workshop.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. If a change matters to you, we will tell account holders by email.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not affect rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms go to hello@vonpeach.com.
